Life Together
Life with CWOC is about much more than a weekly study. Throughout the year, women gather for faith, friendship, prayer, service, fellowship, and the many moments in between that turn a group of women into a community.
This is where faith and friendship begin to become part of everyday life.
Ways We Gather
Some weeks are centered on Scripture and faith study. Others are filled with fellowship, service, special programs, retreats, pilgrimages, or simply time together. CWOC life has room for both the deeply spiritual and the beautifully ordinary.
There are many ways to belong here.
Bible & Faith Study
Scripture and faith formation are at the heart of our regular gatherings. Together we open God’s Word, learn more about the Catholic faith, ask questions, share what we are discovering, and encourage one another to keep growing closer to Christ. You do not need to arrive already knowing the answers.
Faith & Friends
Faith & Friends is CWOC’s Married Couples Ministry, creating space for couples to build friendships, enjoy fellowship, and grow in faith together. Through shared meals, outings, conversation, and special gatherings, it offers a relaxed way for spouses to connect with other Catholic couples and strengthen community beyond our regular women’s gatherings.
Prayer & Spiritual Enrichment
Prayer is woven through the life of CWOC. Alongside our regular studies, we make room for shared prayer, opportunities for spiritual growth, guest speakers, seasonal devotions, and other moments that help us turn our attention back toward Christ. Some gatherings are structured; others are simple. All are meant to help women grow more deeply in faith together.
Service
Service gives us a chance to turn faith outward. Throughout the year, CWOC supports opportunities to care for others, respond to needs in our community, and serve together in practical ways. Sometimes that means an organized project; sometimes it is simply noticing where help is needed and stepping in together.
Retreats & Pilgrimages
Retreats and pilgrimages give us time to step away from the usual rhythm of life and make room for prayer, reflection, and deeper fellowship. Whether it is an MCCW retreat or a pilgrimage to a sacred place, these opportunities help us slow down, encounter Christ more intentionally, and share meaningful experiences together.
Seasonal Gatherings & Fellowship
Some of our sweetest moments together are the ones that simply mark the seasons of the year. Advent and Christmas gatherings, craft days, shared meals, special programs, and other times of fellowship give us space to celebrate, laugh, make memories, and enjoy the community God has given us.
Come Be Part of It
There is no single way to be part of CWOC. You may come first for a Bible study, find your people at a retreat, serve alongside someone who becomes a friend, or simply keep showing up until this community begins to feel like home. However you enter into the life of CWOC, there is room for you here.
